What does real estate software development cover?

Real estate software development covers the systems that take a buyer from first contact to the keys: capturing the lead, interviewing the household, evaluating it, showing options and instalments, contracting, document handling, signatures and the handover. Clouditive designs and builds that chain end to end, from approved screens to a release pipeline, as in the first-home platform described on this page.

The client is a first-home company in Uruguay that guides low and lower-middle income families to their first home. Public entities decide approval, allocation and financing; the platform guides the family and manages the case.

The product is in pre-production, so this page makes no claim about users, revenue or time saved. It describes what we built and how it was checked.

Proven on real work

Real clients, dated figures, and a plain note on what was not done.

There are three of us, and Clouditive built the whole product with us: 18 modules from first contact to key handover, the Mi trámite portal for families, WhatsApp tied to each case with a person able to take over, and an AI email assistant.

What did we build for a first-home company?

Clouditive designed and built the whole product: 18 domain modules in a modular monolith, from first contact to key handover, 326 commits over 10 days. The public site was published within 3 days.

  • Capture, household interview and evaluation with credit check.
  • A source catalogue that records where each housing option comes from, with options and instalments.
  • Contracting, the case file and a versioned document folder.
  • Form packages and e-signature with representation.
  • Professional tasks, presentation and response, and the key-handover agenda.
  • Client tracking, so the family sees where its case stands.

Frequently asked questions

What does a real estate software development company do?

It designs and builds the software a property or housing business runs on. Clouditive covers product design, backend, QA, AI and the release pipeline, with LATAM engineers working in English, Spanish or Portuguese.

Is the housing platform live with families?

It is in pre-production. We do not publish usage or results. The page describes what was built and checked.

Who decides approval and financing for families?

Public entities decide approval, allocation and financing. The platform guides the family and manages the case file.

Can you build the whole product, not only part of it?

Yes. For this client we did product design, the backend, the AI assistant, QA and the release pipeline: 18 domain modules in a modular monolith.

How do you handle family documents and consent?

A versioned document folder, e-signature with representation, a consent system and an 11-document legal pack, all part of the product.

How accurate is the AI email assistant?

It scores 22 of 24 on a frozen 24-case eval and re-checks its send rules before sending. That is an eval result, not a production figure.

Who owns the code?

You do. All code and intellectual property are yours from day 1, under an MSA and SOW, with an NDA before the first call if you ask.

How much does it cost?

Discovery is USD 7,000 for 1–4 weeks. Hourly rates are USD 30–60 by seniority and are on the pricing page.

Start with Discovery: USD 7,000, fixed price, 1–4 weeks. We understand your product and its configuration end to end, then deliver a full roadmap with backlog, roles, critical changes and needs, with daily meetings and progress reviews. Build work after that runs by project or by hour: USD 30–60 by seniority, with a 6-month minimum for staff augmentation.

One client's case is not a promise; Discovery is how we size yours.

How does AI fit into a housing platform?

An AI email assistant runs on Vertex AI. It is scored on a frozen eval of 24 cases, where it reaches 22 of 24, and it re-checks its send rules before anything goes out.

WhatsApp is linked to each case, and a person on the team can take over the conversation at any point. A consent system and an 11-document legal pack cover how family data is handled.

How was the platform checked before release?

About 290 approved design frames cover the public web, the family portal and the staff consoles. 103 verification scripts, plus axe and Playwright walks, check the build against them, with accessibility checks oriented to WCAG 2.2.

Releases go to Cloud Run by tag, behind a Terraform plan with a brake on destructive changes. The Cloudflare edge runs with DNSSEC, CAA and MTA-STS.
