Type who you need, in which area and for how many hours, or describe the problem: “need a CTO”, “production keeps breaking”. It does the arithmetic from the published bands.

Build a product with AI-era teams

Small senior teams working with AI agents, sized by the job and priced from the hourly bands above.

  1. A new product or an MVP

A month is 160 hours per engineer, at the published hourly bands. Team sizes are examples, not a quote, and assume the terms below.

Building an MVP? Start with Discovery, then a team

  1. Discovery USD 7,000, fixed

1 week with access and a decision-maker from day 1, 2 weeks as standard, up to 4 for several systems. It ends with the roadmap: backlog, roles and critical changes.

  2. A team at the published rates

    1 Lead + 1 Senior: USD 16,000–17,600 a month.

Discovery plus the first month of the team: USD 23,000–24,600.

How Discovery works

Not included: taxes, and your cloud, license and third-party tool costs.

Each package has a fixed price, a fixed duration and a written scope. Five belong to one service; Discovery, Architect consulting and Fractional CTO stand on their own.

How much is a developer per hour?

You pay for the hours each engineer works, at the band for their seniority. Staff augmentation has a 6-month minimum.

A Clouditive engineer costs USD 30 to 60 an hour, depending on seniority. A Lead or Architect is USD 55–60 an hour, a Senior USD 45–50, a Mid USD 35–40 and a Junior USD 30. The same bands apply to AI, platform, DevOps, SRE, QA and forward deployed work. Our engineers are in LATAM and work in English, Spanish or Portuguese.

Hours you share with our engineers

Our engineers work between UTC−3 and UTC−5.

  • Your team · Mexico City6 to 8 of 9 hours
  • Your team · US Easternat least 4 of 8 hours
  • Your team · US Central (Chicago)at least 4 of 8 hours
  • Your team · US Pacificat least 2 of 8 hours
Each block is one hour of an 8-hour working day. The filled blocks are the hours shared with our engineers, at least. Mexico City is drawn on a 9-hour day, 9 to 18. The paler blocks are shared only when our engineers sit at UTC−5.

What do the fixed-price packages cost?

Clouditive sells eight fixed-price packages. CI/CD & IaC build or re-architecture costs USD 4,000 for 2 weeks. IDP Foundations, AI Agent Pilot, QA Automation Foundations and SRE / Observability Foundations cost USD 5,000 each for 2 weeks. Discovery costs USD 7,000 for 1 to 4 weeks. Architect consulting costs USD 4,480 a month for 20 hours a week, and Fractional CTO USD 6,000 a month for 30.

How we work: the terms behind AI-era delivery

Small senior teams with AI agents move fast when they can act. These are the conditions, stated before you sign.

  • Access from day one, and one decision-maker

Our timelines start when we have your repositories, environments, CI/CD and cloud, and one person who can decide.

  • AI tools on our seats

We use Claude Team or Enterprise seats that Clouditive pays for. Your code never trains models.

  • If you forbid AI, a classic team

If you forbid AI tools or require your own accounts, we staff a classic team at the published rates and timelines, and any accounts you require are paid by you.

  • Changes after delivery

A change of the same size swaps with a backlog item at no cost. New scope that isn't a swap is quoted at the published rate before we do it.

  • A 30-day defect warranty

A defect against what was agreed, found within 30 days of delivery, is fixed at no cost. Changes and new features are not defects.

  • Heavy-process clients get a realistic timeline

If your process has change boards, tickets or no production access, we still take the work and state a realistic timeline up front. There we sell delivery cadence, not fewer people.

Contracts, security, invoicing and exit terms

What you can know before the first call, in writing.

Engagement model
  • Dedicated, full-time contractor engineers, under contract with DX Clouditive LLC.
  • The contract carries an IP assignment and an NDA.
Security
  • Engineers work in your own accounts and identities, with your single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA) and least-privilege access. We revoke that access when the engagement ends.
  • Every engineer passes a background check before assignment.
  • We complete your security questionnaire or vendor assessment on request.
Contracts and IP
  • We sign an NDA before the call if you ask.
  • All code and intellectual property belong to you from day one.
  • We work under a master services agreement (MSA) and a statement of work (SOW) for each engagement. A data processing agreement (DPA) is available.
  • What a fixed-price package delivers is written into its SOW.
Invoicing
  • Invoices in US dollars from DX Clouditive LLC, a US company.
  • Monthly in arrears, net 15, paid by international wire.
Capacity
  • We confirm availability for your roles on the first call.
  • We present candidates within 1 week.
Response times
  • We reply to every request within 1 business day.
Working hours
  • Our engineers work between UTC−3 and UTC−5.
  • That gives 6 to 8 hours of overlap with Mexico City on a 9-to-6 day, at least 4 hours with US Eastern and US Central time and 2 with US Pacific.
On-call
  • We work in your business hours. We don't offer 24x7 on-call.
  • We leave alerts and runbooks so your own on-call can resolve incidents.
Exit and replacement
  • After the 6-month minimum, 30 days' notice ends the engagement.
  • If an engineer leaves or doesn't fit, we present a replacement within 10 business days and cover the handover at no cost.
References
  • We'll connect you with client references before you sign.
