What are QA testing services?
QA testing services check that an application does what it should before users find out it does not. They combine manual testing, where a person explores the product and judges what a script cannot, with automated tests that run on every change: unit and integration suites, browser flows and accessibility checks. Clouditive does both, manual and automated.
A test suite that only runs locally, or checks the code instead of the page, lets a broken signup or checkout reach users. The flows that make money are the ones to test first.
QA Automation Foundations costs USD 5,000 for 2 weeks: a Playwright suite for your 5 critical flows, running in your CI, plus accessibility checks on those flows.

Frequently asked questions
What is a QA in testing?
QA, quality assurance, is the work of making sure software meets its requirements before release. Testing is how QA checks it: by hand, with scripts, or both.
What are the technologies used in automation testing?
In our cases: Playwright for browser journeys, axe for accessibility, Jest for unit and integration suites, and Linux smoke scripts driving real Unity players for a game.
Is automation testing good or bad?
Good for what repeats on every change; not enough on its own. We pair automated suites with manual exploration and independent reviews, as on PCU.
Which automation tools do you use?
We don't publish a ranking. In client work we use Playwright, axe and Jest, plus pixel-fidelity checks against approved Figma frames.
Is QA worth it in 2026?
It is how we know a release works. At v1.61.0, Autonomah had 30,282 unit tests and 1,440 integration tests passing.
Do you do manual testing?
Yes. QA here covers manual and automated testing; manual passes cover keyboard use, visual judgement and the flows a script cannot assess.
What does QA Automation Foundations cost?
USD 5,000 for 2 weeks, fixed price: a Playwright suite for your 5 critical flows, running in CI, plus accessibility checks.
Clouditive prices QA two ways, both published. A QA engineer added to your team costs USD 55–60 an hour for a Lead, 45–50 Senior, 35–40 Mid and 30 Junior, with a 6-month minimum. A fixed-scope start is QA Automation Foundations: USD 5,000 for 2 weeks, covering a Playwright suite for your 5 critical flows in CI, with accessibility checks.
You interview the QA engineer who will do the work. If that engineer leaves or doesn't fit, we replace them and cover the handover at no cost.
Will QA get replaced by AI?
Not in our work. AI helps write and run tests, but someone still decides what is worth testing, and a passing suite is not the same as a working product. That is why our QA runs the real flow in a real browser against a real server, and why accessibility and design fidelity are checked on the rendered page. Manual exploration covers what no script can judge.
Real-browser QA with accessibility checks is part of the practice on every repository we work in.
QA as a service or manual testing services?
QA as a service puts testers and automation engineers on your product on an ongoing basis, billed by the hour; manual testing services cover what a script can't judge, such as a confusing flow or a keyboard-only pass. Most teams need both: automation for the critical flows and a person for the rest. Our QA engineers start at USD 30 an hour, with a 6-month minimum.
